Statement from the CEO
Corporate Vision
There is no doubt that Eilat is a leading tourist destination. The city’s new, ultramodern airport makes the City of (almost) Eternal Sun an easily and convenient getaway to enjoy its desert, sea and abundance of natural resources. Eilat has become an urban desert oasis with a growing culture of hosting a variety of festivals, sporting events, theatre performances and international conferences, uniting the local community with holidaymakers and transforming the city into an ecologically friendly, culturally enriched tourism destination.
Following recent and extensive developments, Eilat is expected to become one of the leading tourist destinations in the coming decade, offering a wide variety of attractions, activities, and hotels that cater to all types of travelers.
Corporation Objectives
To support the encouragement, development, marketing, and promotion of domestic and foreign tourism in Eilat.
To actively cooperate with all tourism stakeholders in the city for the development of Eilat as a leading international tourist destination with a distinction for quality and environmental sustainability.
To work collaboratively with Eilat Municipality, public entities, government ministries, etc.
To initiate, organize and promote a wide range of sporting and cultural events, conferences and exhibitions, thereby attracting a diverse and high-quality audience to Eilat.
To develop tourism infrastructure that assist in improving public-sector tourism products.
To promote Eilat and its surrounding areas via marketing campaigns, and hosting journalists, agents, influencers and bloggers from Israel and the world.
To promote city tours and meeting the locals, providing tourists to explore and enjoy all parts of the city, thereby strengthening local business.
Highlighting the natural resources surrounding the city, “Desert Nature and Sea”, to turn it into a green, eco-friendly, and convenient vacation destination.

My favorite place in Eilat? There is a wonderful spot in Nahal Yehoshafat bordering Egypt that offers a spectacular view of Eilat, which I call the ‘Valley of the Moon’’. I also like to spend time at Eilat’s southern coastline, exploring the enchanting underwater world, especially the Missile Boat Shipwreck and Paradise diving sites, where I dive almost every Saturday.

Liat Agassi
V.P. of Marketing and Development
My favorite place in Eilat? In fact, it is actually two that are one. Every morning I drive down a ravine which continues along Wadi Shahmon, and ends at the sea. Aside from being breathtaking, this road inspires me on a daily basis and reminds me to take a moment to stop and reflect how fortunate I (and we) are to live in such a beautiful and dramatic landscape of desert and sea.

My favorite place in Eilat? The Dolphin Reef Relaxation Pools at sunset. I love to sit and watch the sun setting behind Eilat’s Mountains in the west as they paint the Edom Mountains in the east in spectacular shades of red.
